About Us
My name is Don Mendenhall and I am the owner of Mendenhall Concrete. I started in the concrete business at age 18. While learning to become a concrete contractor, I was fortunate to be able to work under two engineers at a young age and learned many of the basics about concrete. One of the main people who taught me about concrete finishing and masonry decided to go the direction of masonry, but I stayed mostly with concrete and cement. As time went by I was able to learn more about various types of concrete applications. At around the age of 27 I decided to obtain a California State contractor license and decided to specialize in concrete and cement. Although once in a while we will take on a larger job of two to four weeks, generally we take on the smaller jobs that take from two to five days.
Over the years we have found that over half our work tends to be removing of old asphalt or problem concrete and replacing it with new concrete. I enjoy the work we do, and especially knowing that the property owner is usually very satisfied at the completion of the project. See for yourself what our customers are saying about us.
When a person makes the first call to me, I try to understand what they want to accomplish and will then make arrangements to view the actual site very soon. Once a customer has decided to use our services I make it a point to carefully guide and control the project from start to finish. I specialize in all types of concrete and cement services and do amazing work on patios, driveways and sidewalks.

I am licensed by the state of California (CLS#: 422449). The contractor's state license board has strict qualifications for any individual wishing to obtain the State license.

During the Fall of 1988 and Spring of 1989 the Mendenhall Concrete Company removed the asphalt cart paths on our course and replaced them with concrete paths. Their work was exceptional.
